Luca Rossi grad­u­at­ed in Eco­nom­ics at the Boc­coni Uni­ver­si­ty of Milan. He was admit­ted to the Asso­ci­a­tion of Char­tered Accoun­tants of Lodi in 1992.

He is co-founder of Fac­chi­ni Rossi & Soci, that changed name to Stu­dio Legale Trib­u­tario Fac­chi­ni Rossi Michelut­ti in June 2019.

From 2007 to 2009, he was mem­ber of the Com­mis­sion of the OIC (Ital­ian Account­ing Orga­ni­za­tion) for the adjust­ment of Ital­ian tax leg­is­la­tion to the account­ing stan­dards.

He was tem­po­rary pro­fes­sor at the “School of Econ­o­my and Finance”.

From 2013 to 2022, Luca Rossi was a mem­ber of the Tax Com­mit­tee of the Ital­ian Asso­ci­a­tion of Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Accoun­tants – Milan Sec­tion.

He is cur­rent­ly an Expert of the Tax Com­mit­tee of the Ital­ian Asso­ci­a­tion of Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Accoun­tants – Milan Sec­tion.

He is a mem­ber of the Tax & Legal Com­mit­tee of AIFI (the Ital­ian Pri­vate Equi­ty Asso­ci­a­tion).

He is a mem­ber of the Inter­na­tion­al Fis­cal Asso­ci­a­tion (IFA).

Since 2022, he has been mem­ber of the Sci­en­tif­ic Com­mit­tee of ASSOSIM- Finan­cial Mar­kets Inter­me­di­aries Asso­ci­a­tion

He is audi­tor and chair­man of the board of audi­tors in sev­er­al list­ed and unlist­ed com­pa­nies.

He pro­vides tax assis­tance to domes­tic and for­eign cor­po­rate groups, banks and pri­vate equi­ty funds. His areas of exper­tise include M&A and reor­gan­i­sa­tion trans­ac­tions, finan­cial tax­a­tion, cor­po­rate tax­a­tion, inter­na­tion­al tax­a­tion, trans­fer pric­ing and patent box, man­age­ment incen­tive plans, assis­tance in pre-lit­i­ga­tion tax set­tle­ment pro­ce­dures and tax lit­i­ga­tion. In par­tic­u­lar, he has sig­nif­i­cant exper­tise in tax mat­ters regard­ing the bank­ing sec­tor.

He is the author of var­i­ous pub­li­ca­tions on tax law mat­ters and he often speaks at domes­tic and inter­na­tion­al sem­i­nars and con­fer­ences.
